The Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, on Friday hosted the third ‘One-Day-Governor’ selected during his administration and the first male for such appointment in the state. Master Nicholas Ogunji, is a 17-year-old student of Adventist Technical Secondary School, Ohafia and according to the state governor, the One-Day-Governor during his official outing helped free some inmates after paying off their fines at Afaraukwu Correctional Centre. In a thread of tweets, Ikpeazu in his announcement of the development said; “We currently have 17 years old Master Nicholas Ogunji of Adventist Technical Secondary School, Ohafia, as our One-Day-Governor. “He is the 3rd One-Day-Governor under my administration. Reports indicate that an unknown sect have attcaked the Emir of Kaura Namoda, HRH Sanusi Muhammad Asha's  convoy killing 3 policemen and five others.  The Zamfara state commissioner of police, Usman Nagogo  confirmed the incident which took place at Funtua, Katsina State. Speaking with Channels Tv, he however declined to give further information on the issue.

An area in Kaduna state, Gora Gan, Zangon-Kataf has been attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen.  This attack was reported to have taken place in the late hours of Thursday 17th December 2020; where it was also reported by Daily Post Nigeria that 7 people lost their lives.  Recall,this  village was raided earlier this year by the said Fulani herdsmen which also resulted in loss of lives and properties. A source stated that five of the seven killed people are of the same family. Days after the tragic abduction of about 300 students from Government Science School Kankara, Katsina, it's reported that the abducted students have been released.  In a tweet via his official Twitter handle, the aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Bashir Ahmad has confirmed the news. However, we await an official press statement. 

 A ghanian lady identified as Maa Adwoa  allegedly nabbed her believed 'best friend' naked in her matrimonial home.  In a video making the rounds, Adwoa allegedly entered her matrimonial home only to find Nafisa her best friend naked in the house.  A disappointed Adwoa lamented that because she now lives at 'Techiman', her best friend has used the avenue to be sleeping with her husband. It was gathered that Adwoa had helped her best friend to relocate from Techiman to Kumasi to help her get a job, but Nafisah betrayed her and started an affair with her husband. In the video Nafisah who was ashamed that she was caught, was seen kneeling down and begging for forgiveness from Maa Adwoa. Watch video below:
