Joel Amadi in Southern Kaduna crisis😓

The fresh attacks on southern Kaduna remain everfresh in our hearts as popular Afro pop star Joel Amadi speaks up on the death of his father partaining to the attacks.

 In an interview with HIP tv, Joel Amadi said his father just went out to feed his pigs at about 5.35pm  and as he turned to return to his house the attackers came from behind and shot him which lead to his instant death. "His father was a good man who was loved by many and hated by few" he went on to say. He also said that the military security detail was withdrawn a day before the attack and the attack was like a setup to him.
    He went on to say that 'Nigerian' celebrities don't speak up about societal issues. He urged celebrities irrespective of their fan base to use their voice to promote peace and unity adding that,"celebrities aren't even doing anything". He also called on the Nigerian government to do something about the matter; adding that the community has been abandoned. 
  Finally, the suspected Kennis music star said he 'switched off' his project with Zlatan because of the Southern Kaduna killing in which is father was involved.

     Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu awards scholarship to children of police officers who died during #EndSARS protest. The governor announced this during his visit to Lagos Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja, on Wednesday, October 28 to interact with Police personnel. “The most important requests is to offer scholarships to the children of officers who died. “I have directed the Lagos State Scholarship Board, under the Special Adviser on Education, to immediately award scholarships to the children of the slain officers,”  Sanwo-Olu said. The governor also went on to say, that the government is working on setting up a Rebuild Lagos Trust-fund   to help ease the aftermath of the destruction that went on during the #EndSARS protest. Speaking further, he revealed that the reform of the police force, as demanded by the EndSARS protesters, has started. The Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, on Friday hosted the third ‘One-Day-Governor’ selected during his administration and the first male for such appointment in the state. Master Nicholas Ogunji, is a 17-year-old student of Adventist Technical Secondary School, Ohafia and according to the state governor, the One-Day-Governor during his official outing helped free some inmates after paying off their fines at Afaraukwu Correctional Centre.
