Former Nigeria minister of Finance, emerges new Director-General of the World Trade Organization.

      Former minister of Finance,Dr.Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has emerged as the new Director General of the World Trade Organization.
Ngozi polled a total of 104 votes from a sum total of 164 eligible member countries to defeat her opponent, South Korea’s Yoo Myung-hee in the final polls. 

Although an official announcement from the World Trade Organization is expected to air 3pm Nigerian Time.
