Shola has finally been released!!!

After 82 days in police custody, Babtunde Olushola has finally been released!!!

     Shola was detained by the the inspector general of police based a parody Twitter account he ran in the name of the former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan which he was believed to be impersonating. The young influencer who was popularly known by his Twitter handle @brezzislife was the subject of the campaign #freeshola. It was also said that the young man was an orphan.

     Thank God for his safe release, he is said to be in good health and he is stable. Also, the efforts of Tope Akinyode and Abdul Mahmud who were actively involved in his advocacy cannot go unnoticed.
