     Federal Polytechnic, Oko in Anambra state has launched a full scale war on all forms of indecent dressing; the school management has placed a ban of certain dress codes and outfits. A document distributed to the students of the school relayed this information. Unnecessarily bushy hair and beards, artificial eyelashes most especially long ones, coloured human hair, dyed hair among others have been banned.       Nigerian law-maker and member of the Lagos state House of Assembly, Mojisola Alli-Macauley who was dragged yesterday by youths after a statement she made and I quote, " They (Nigerian youths) are high on drugs all the time, most of them. They go to social media to do all sorts of things.”".  The statement angered a lot of young people and older generation folk alike.  The statement put her in the spotlight and it didn't take the online 'FBI' as they are called to dig up photos of her just celebrated birthday where she shared Covid-19 palliatives as souvenir.

        Barely two weeks to the presidential election, the Wisconsin Republican Party has allegedly lost $2.3 million dollars to Hackers. The hacking scheme used involved the use of manipulated invoices, the Associated Press reports.  The party released the theft on October 22nd; according to Wisconsin Republican Party Chairman, Andrew Hitt, the FBI is currently investigating the case. According to Hitt, the hackers used fake invoices from several campaign vendors working with them.Instead of featuring the vendor’s payment information, the documents relayed the money to the hackers. This scam methods isn't a new one however as Google suffered a similar blow in 2017.Scammers regularly use fake invoices to target businesses, organizations, and other groups, hoping to sneak in bogus receipts alongside the legitimate ones.      Supposed winner of the polls for the post of Director General of the World Trade Organization, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has reacted to the  U.S opposition of her consensus victory over her South Korea rival, Yoo Myung-hee to become the next Director General of the World Trade Organization.   The former Nigeria Finance minister was originally slated to be the next Director General of the World Trade Organization surpassing her Korean counterpart with more than half of the votes in her favor (104 of the 164 eligible voting candidates). She had support from the EU, Japan and even China. According to reports, when the United States representatives sensed her victory, they quickly took the floor to suggest that , Yoo Myung-hee was still an eligible contender. They also stated that D.C Washington wouldn't approve of  Ngozi's looming appointment.        Veteran actor, now Surulere constituency representative in the Lagos House of Assembly, Desmond Elliot has been called out by popular gist and Trendz account, gistlovers.blog1. Recall, earlier today, Desmond Elliot was caught on tape supporting the motion to shut down or regulate social media usage in Nigeria. It came as a big blow to the social media community because at the initial stage of the #EndSARS protest, Desmond pretended to be in support of the youth.     Due to massive unrest nationwide in the course of the past few weeks, various state governments were made to shut down some certain sectors including the education sector.  However, with peace and calm returning to the country, the Lagos State government has given the go ahead for resumption of schools in the state.  The Lagos  government stated 2nd November for resumption of both public and private schools in the state while public school boarding students are stated to resume on Sunday, November 1st.      Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu awards scholarship to children of police officers who died during #EndSARS protest. The governor announced this during his visit to Lagos Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja, on Wednesday, October 28 to interact with Police personnel. “The most important requests is to offer scholarships to the children of officers who died. “I have directed the Lagos State Scholarship Board, under the Special Adviser on Education, to immediately award scholarships to the children of the slain officers,”  Sanwo-Olu said. The governor also went on to say, that the government is working on setting up a Rebuild Lagos Trust-fund   to help ease the aftermath of the destruction that went on during the #EndSARS protest.      In contradiction to what the Lagos State governor and the Nigerian Army initially said about the #LekkiMassacre,  Amazon  best selling Nigerian Author, Reno Omokri has come out to debunk claims by the Lagos State government  stating that upon inspection of the Lekki Toll gate where the massacre allegedly happened, there was no blood stain.  In some videos shared via his Instagram, people could be seen lying helplessly on the ground with bullet wounds. In Sanwo-Olu words,“Two dead bodies, that is what we have seen from all the morgues, that’s what we have seen going to hospitals, that’s what we have seen as record. “Nobody has turned up . I have been to the ground . There is no blood anywhere there". Reno while sharing one of the videos wrote,“Watch an eye witness at the Lekki massacre scene the next day.       Former minister of Finance, Dr.Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has emerged as the new Director General of the World Trade Organization. Ngozi polled a total of 104 votes from a sum total of 164 eligible member countries to defeat her opponent, South Korea’s Yoo Myung-hee in the final polls.  Although an official announcement from the World Trade Organization is expected to air 3pm Nigerian Time.       Ex - president aide,  Reno Omokri has alledged that the survivors of the #LekkiMassacre were each offered the sum of #5million naira to keep silent. The veteran lawyer made this allegation via his official Twitter page on Wednesday 28th October, 2020. Recall the massacre took place on Tuesday 20th October,2020; since then, there hasn't been a confirmed number of casualties with the #ENDSARS protesters saying the casualties were numerous while the Lagos State government saying there were no casualties at all.  According to him, he spoke with some of the survivors who revealed to him that some government officials are offering them a 5 million Naira bribe each. He tweeted,  “#LekkiMassacre survivors told me that before they got into the safe house, they received calls from government officials offering them ₦5,000,000 each to walk away and forget the incident. How they got their numbers, they don’t know. They have details of these calls #EndSARS”.

   Self-acclaimed African Giant, Burna   Boy has dedicated his BET Hip-Hop awards performance to all who lost their lives to SARS brutality in Nigeria. The 15th edition of the show held on Tuesday Night.  One of the key events of the night was when Burna Boy and Chris Martin used their performance of 'Monsters you made' to spread awareness and pay tribute to the souls who lost their lives to the now defunct SARS unit in Nigeria. Monsters you made premiered in Burna Boy's latest studio album, Twice as Tall. The song highlights how government excesses has planted an evil seed in the heart of the youth. The song goes in to explain what majorly happens in most of not all African countries.  The self acclaimed African giant, dedicated the performance to,  “All innocent Nigerians killed by SARS.” The singer also used the opportunity to call for an end to police brutality and profiling in Nigeria.     Osun state governor a few days back, gave inhabitants of the state who participated in the looting of palliative 72-hours to return the 'stolen' palliatives. He instructed the palliatives be returned to security agencies, traditional rulers, local government chairmen or community leaders close to them. In a statement by the head of the   Loots recovery committee, Prince Abdullahi, he confirmed that the government has received an encouraging amount of looted palliatives across various Local government areas  in the state.       Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved full reopening of markets in the state. The governor revealed this through his senior special assistant on Media, Gawat Jubril. The statement released approved opening of both food and non-food markets in the state.  It can be recalled that markets were operational only thrice in a week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday, as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of COVID-19. The statement reads, “The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the full resumption of operations of both food markets and non-food markets. They are now to open daily. Mr Governor took the decision to further enhance trade and commerce and mitigate the hardship of recent times and ensure that Lagosians can recover fast. Mr Governor also advised the continued observance of all safety protocols. Traders and their customers must adhere strictly to the COVID-19 protocols for their safety and the citizenry at large”.

    A member of SAUTI SOL, Savara Mudigi shares his life threatening in the hands of SARS operatives.  In a post via his Instagram handle, Savara revealed the encounter tooke place when SAUTI SOL came to Lagos to shoout their now viral hit, Suzannna.  After the shoot, he decided to visit a club in company of a friend. On the way, their car was stopped by some operatives of the now defunct SARS.   He disclosed that they were asked to lay down and heard guns cocking, adding that what saved him was the wads of dollar notes he had in his pocket.     The government is believed to be behind social media disruption and malfunction in Nigeria.  Word on the street indicates that the people in authority want to silence and possibly cover up their tracks concerning the unspeakable acts of human rights violation in Nigeria.  A lot of social media users complained today of some malfunctions during the usage of their respective social media platforms.  Recall, Adamu Garba urged the CEO of Twitter,  Jack Dorsey to keep away from Nigeria's issues as according to him, Jack was instigating violence. Jack lent his voice to the #ENDSARS,#ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY campaign going on Nigeria.  As a result of the social media malfunctions, all citizens of Nigeria and beyond are advised to save their evidences of Police Brutality or any tangible proof of human right violation to either the cloud for iOS devices or Google drive for Android .
